FAQ - Important Holiday Info

Will my order be delayed due the holiday season?

Our team is working hard to process and pack your order promptly! However, due to the global increase in shipping volume during the holiday season, all major shipping couriers are experiencing significant delays in their networks. While we provide on-time processing of your package, delays in the actual transit and delivery by the courier are possible and may be out of our control. We will continue to do our best to communicate with our courier partners to ensure you receive your package in a timely manner.

What this means for you: Please anticipate that delivery windows provided by the courier may be extended.

Best action: We recommend placing your orders as early as possible.

Tracking: Always refer to the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email for the most up-to-date information directly from the carrier.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as the couriers manage this busy period.

Can I update my order once it has been placed?

Once your order has been confirmed in our system, it is immediately sent to our warehouse for order processing. Due to this, we are unable to cancel or change your order once it has been submitted in our system. However, please review our return/exchange policy if you wish to receive a different size or refund for your item(s) once they arrive.

Can I pay extra to guarantee fast or next-day shipping?

We currently do not offer expedited shipping services, and therefore, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. All orders are processed using our standard shipping method.

I placed my order with the wrong shipping address. Can I change it?

We encourage all customers to double-check their shipping address at checkout (we provide an additional confirmation step for this reason).

Important Policy Note (Cannot Change/Cancel):

Once your order has been confirmed in our system, it is immediately sent to our warehouse for processing. Due to this automated process, we are unable to cancel or change your order once it has been submitted.

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address:

  1. You will be responsible for paying the cost to have the products shipped again.
  2. We will make a one-time exception to re-ship your order with a reshipping fee.

What to do now: Please reach out to hello@sassywoof.com immediately with your order number and the correct address. A member of our team will send you a shipping invoice to cover the cost of re-shipment.

FAQ - Retail

Why can’t I find your retailer exclusive product on the retailer’s website?

Due to how our retail partners' systems are set up, some of our retailer-exclusive products may not appear available online. If an item is not currently stocked in your local area, the retailer's website may automatically list it as unavailable. We are working closely with our retail partners to improve visibility and consistency, making it easier for you to find the exclusive products you are looking for.

We recommend contacting the specific retailer's support team to find a location near you that may have the product in stock.

FAQ - Returns/Exchanges

What do I need to include with my return/exchange?

Before starting your return, please ensure that the items sent back must be brand new, unwashed, and hair-free. All items sent back must be brand new, unwashed, and hair-free. Sassy Woof will not exchange or return any products that were damaged as a result of chewing or biting. We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery.

Upon mailing back your product(s), please include a note with your order number. Also indicate if you would like to return your item or exchange it for a different pattern or size.

We recommend you put tracking on the package to ensure it arrives back to our warehouse.

Where do I mail my return/exchange to?

Once your return or exchange is received, inspected, and approved based on our policy above, please allow 2-5 business days for processing. If you request a return, credit is applied to your original form of payment usually within 24-48 hours. If you request a exchange, please email us at hello@sassywoof.com to ensure that we still have stock left of the size/item you are requesting.

EXCLUSIONS: All sales of custom products and Made-to-Order items including our Dog Treats, and Human Apparel are final and not returnable. All items marked FINAL SALE on the product page will not be returnable.

Does Sassy Woof provide a return label for me to mail back my return/exchange?

Customers are responsible for any and all associated shipping costs to mail back any returns/exchanges. We recommend USPS (for U.S. orders) or your local courier (for international orders) as those are typically the most cost-effective options, but you may use the courier of your choice. We also recommend you put tracking on the package to ensure it arrives back to our warehouse. Sassy Woof does not provide free return labels.

How long do I have to mail back my exchange/return?

We will accept returns/exchanges for up to 30 days after purchase. Items must be postmarked back to us within 30 days of purchase.

FAQ - Shipping

How much is shipping to the US?

For orders $49.99 USD and above, we offer free shipping via ground. Orders that are less than the prefaced amount will have a standard shipping charge of $4.99. Most orders take 1-3 business days to process and leave our warehouse and an additional 2-5 business days to arrive.

How long will my package take to arrive?

Most orders take 1-3 business days to process and leave our warehouse. Delivery time may vary depending on where you are located, but generally take about 2-5 business days for U.S. orders and 7-21 business days for international orders.

Shipping may take longer due to the impact of the holiday season. Packages may take additional business days to arrive. All couriers including USPS are currently experiencing delays with shipping and updating tracking information.

Made-to-order items (selected Human Apparel products, which are denoted on the product page) can take 2-3 weeks to arrive. You do not need to purchase a faster shipping option at checkout for these products as the standard shipping time above applies. These items ship from a different warehouse and we cannot control the shipping speed. As a reminder, these items are unable to be returned or exchanged.

How much is shipping to Canada & what is the shipping time?

We offer a flat rate of $14.99 USD for all shipments to Canada for orders up to $99.99 USD. Free shipping is avaliable for orders $100+ USD. Shipping Time from the US can vary from 7-21 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide to most countries. Shipping costs and timeframe depends on the country, but typically takes between 7-21 business days to arrive once it leaves our warehouse. We are not responsible for shipping delays outside of our control.

Are there any additional fees to ship products internationally?

Depending on where you are located, your country may charge additional fees on products shipped from the U.S. Sassy Woof is NOT responsible for any customs or tariff fees/import duties that may be imposed. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not covered by the shipping costs.

How much is shipping internationally & what is the shipping time (outside of the U.S./Canada)?

For the following countries, we offer a flat rate fee of $19.99 USD for shipping for orders up to $149.99 USD and FREE Shipping on orders $150+ USD:

Australia, Croatia, Czech Repbulic, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom

For all other countries, the shipping cost depends on your exact location and is calculated at checkout. Most packages take 7-21 business days to ship once it leaves our warehouse, but faster shipping options are available on the checkout page for an additional cost.

Shipping may take longer due to the impact of COVID-19 and the holiday season. Packages may take additional business days to arrive. All couriers including USPS are currently experiencing delays with shipping and updating tracking information.

What happens if I put the wrong address and my package has already shipped?

We encourage all of our customers to confirm that the address entered at checkout is correct. We have an additional box at checkout to confirm that your address is correct. If you still input an incorrect address, we can make a one-time exception to re-ship your order with a reshipping fee. You will be responsible for paying to have the products shipped again. Sassy Woof will not charge you for the duplicate products during this one-time exception.

FAQ - Delays

I'm experiencing significant shipping & tracking delays.

Sassy Woof is not immune to the extensive and systemic delays that are currently affecting the entire shipping network. Although we adhere to our promise to pack and ship products quickly, there are serious unprecedented delays after the item is picked up by our shipping partners. We understand there is great concern and angst about these significant hold ups.

We now know that packages are being marked as delivered, despite not being delivered to customers. This is a systemic problem that is affecting the entire shipping industry. Unfortunately, we are unable to expedite the process or file a claim since it is affecting a majority of packages. We are only able to see the same tracking information that you can, but have compiled a list of some frequently asked questions below.

My package is showing as delivered, but it is not here. Where is it?

We are currently seeing packages being delivered up to 7 days after being marked as delivered. This is happening very often and unfortunately, tracking information is currently very unreliable. However, in most instances, the package gets delivered after a few days. Please be sure to check with your concierge or neighbors to make sure it was not inadvertently dropped off in their mail boxes. Please reach out to us at hello@sassywoof.com if the package has not arrived after 7 business days.

My order was shipped but the tracking has not been updated for days! What is happening?

If you are like us, you rely on tracking to see the status of your package. However, all couriers have modified their tracking to show less or information that is not current. We have seen packages that are delivered, but continue to show “In-Transit” for many days after. We have also seen the reverse situation where a package shows as “Delivered” but does not physically appear for days. Rest assured that we are monitoring the progress of these packages; however, there is little that Sassy Woof can do to push them closer to you.
