Sassy Woof is a dog-loving lifestyle brand creating fun, functional, and adorable products for pups and their humans. We’re passionate about creating products and experiences that celebrate the special bond between dogs and their people.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Junior Photographer to join our team and help bring our products, pups, and brand to life through photography.
The Junior Photographer will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to capture high-quality photography for Sassy Woof’s website, social media, email marketing, advertising, product launches, and other brand initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for an emerging photographer who is looking to build their portfolio and gain hands-on experience photographing products, dogs, lifestyle moments, and branded content.
· Photograph Sassy Woof products for use across our website, social media, email, and marketing materials
· Capture lifestyle photography featuring dogs, products, and their humans
· Assist with photoshoots from concept development through execution
· Help set up and style photography sets, including props, backgrounds, lighting, and products
· Photograph dogs in a fun, natural, and engaging way while capturing their unique personalities
· Assist with photoshoots for new product and collection launches
· Capture behind-the-scenes content at events, pop-ups, and brand activations
· Assist with organizing and maintaining photo assets and files
· Edit and retouch photos while maintaining Sassy Woof’s visual style
· Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand photography needs and creative direction
· Help brainstorm creative concepts, compositions, locations, and styling ideas
· Assist with selecting final images for use across different marketing channels
· Ensure photography is consistent with Sassy Woof’s brand aesthetic
· Stay current on photography, editing, and social media trends
· Photography experience through work, school, personal projects, or a portfolio
· Strong understanding of basic photography principles, including composition, lighting, exposure, and framing
· Comfortable using a DSLR or mirrorless camera
· Basic photo editing experience
· Strong eye for detail and visual aesthetics
· Creative and willing to experiment with new ideas
· Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with a small team
· Patient and comfortable working with dogs who may not always cooperate with the camera 😉
· Reliable, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed
· A genuine love for dogs is a must 🐶
· Experience with product photography or lifestyle photography
· Experience photographing dogs or other animals
· Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar editing software
· Familiarity with studio lighting and basic lighting equipment
· Experience creating photography for e-commerce or social media
· Understanding of social-media-friendly photography and composition
· A photography portfolio showcasing your work
· Knowledge of entertainment, movies, pop culture, and major licensed franchises
You’re someone who naturally notices the little details—the perfect angle, the cutest expression, or the way the light hits a product.
You’re creative, eager to learn, and excited to get hands-on experience in a growing lifestyle brand. You don’t need to be an expert photographer; we’re looking for someone with a strong creative eye, a willingness to learn, and a passion for creating beautiful content.
And, of course, you’re comfortable working with dogs who may decide that sitting still for a photo is simply not in their job description. 🐶📸
