Fall Recipes for Pups

Enjoy the flavors of fall with these pup-friendly recipes!

Pumpkins, sweet potatoes, corn, apples...the flavors of fall. While we get to enjoy all of these delicious fall flavors, our pups should too! Check out some perfect (and safe) treats for pups this season!

Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Ingredients:

• 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

• 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter

• 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree

• 1/4 Cup Vegetable Stock

• 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions:

1. For your treats, start by preheating the oven to 350º F.

2. Combine all of your ingredients (flour, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, cinnamon) in a mixing bowl.

3. Slowly stir in the vegetable stock and stir until combined.

4. Once mixed, roll the dough into a ball. Place dough on a flat service and roll it out evenly with a rolling pin.

5. Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into fun shapes. You can make your treats in the shape of a dog bone, pumpkin, or more!

6. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown. The cookies should be hard to the touch. Enjoy!

Banana Pumpkin Dog Treats

Ingredients:

• 1 Banana

• 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

• 3/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree

• 1/4 Cup Oats

• 1 Egg

• Green Beans

Instructions:

1. For your treats, start by preheating the oven to 350º F.

2. Combine all of your wet ingredients (pumpkin puree, banana, egg) in a mixing bowl.

3. Slowly stir in flour and oats and stir until combined.

4. Once mixed, form the dough into small balls.

5. Place dough balls onto a cookie sheet and press down with a fork to flatten. Then, place a green bean at the top of the circle to form a pumpkin.

6. Bake for 16 minutes or until golden brown. Yum!

Apple Carrot Dog Treats

Ingredients:

• 1 Apple

• 1 Carrot

• 1 Egg

• 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup

• 2 cups Almond Flour

• 1 Cup Oat Flour

Instructions:

1. For your treats, start by preheating the oven to 350º F.

2. Start by peeling and shredding the apple and carrot.

3. Mix the shredded apple, shredded carrot, egg, melted coconut oil, and syrup in a large bowl.

4. Once mixed, stir in the flours.

5. Pour mixture into silicone mold. This can be any shape - leaves, pumpkins, you choose!

6. Bake for 22 minutes or until golden brown. Tasty!
